Introducing | Five New Colourways For Anni Stripe
Expressive stripes meet a considered approach to colour and form
We’re delighted to introduce five new colourways in our Anni Stripe fabric. A longstanding favourite in the collection, this design has been reimagined in a palette of rich, grounded tones: Tide, Sienna, Mallard, Brick, and Clover.
Originally hand-painted in the Imogen Heath studio, Anni Stripe brings a gestural and characterful take to traditional stripes. With its expressive, painterly lines and geometric composition, Anni Stripe is a nod to the woven structures and visual language of textile pioneers like Anni Alber. It is distinctly rooted in Imogen’s approach to colour and form, celebrating craft, structure and spontaneity in equal measure, creating a timeless pattern that breathes life into any interior.
Exploring the Palette
Each of the five new shades belongs to a carefully curated colour family, thoughtfully designed to harmonise with our broader collections. From earthy reds to tidal blues and greens, these five new Anni Stripe colourways draw on colours that feel grounded and joyful. The beautiful Oatmeal Linen grounds provide the perfect backdrop and canvas for these painterly stripes and rich colours.
BRICK
Brick provides shades of terracotta and baked clay that sit warmly against the oatmeal linen ground.
The Colour Story
As with all our designs, colour is celebrated throughout the process. Each new colourway was chosen for how it sits alongside our existing collections. We looked to nature for cues: colours that feel rooted and familiar but have a sense of playfulness and joy in the home. The five new colour options have resulted in a palette that feels considered yet fresh, designed to sit comfortably in different spaces.
Inspiration
Anni Stripe carries a subtle yet meaningful reference to the woven textiles of Bauhaus weaver Anni Albers, a pioneering designer whose innovative approach to form, structure, and material remains a lasting source of inspiration. Originally hand-painted by Imogen in our studio, this stripe was thoughtfully created to offer a contemporary interpretation of a classic pattern—one that feels both carefully crafted and richly characterful. The hand-painted lines introduce gentle tonal colour variations and delicate gestural marks, ensuring that each stripe is truly unique and imbued with a sense of artistry.
